1000th Master belt scale sold

Rice Lake Weighing Systems Europe (formerly Master Engineering) has sold its 1000th Master belt scale model BS221DB. The model was developed by Master Engineering in 2007 and introduced in the Netherlands.

The model has been a success from the start. Since the acquisition of Master Engineering by Rice Lake, the model is sold worldwide. The milestone of a total of 1000 sold belt scales of this model has been reached this summer. A belt scale consists of a weighing frame mounted in the belt conveyor, a belt speed sensor and a weighing processor that processes the signals (weight and speed) to kg / hour or ton / hour and a total count in kg or ton. The BS221DB model has a weighing frame consisting of two constructions (each with one load cell) mounted on the outside of the belt conveyor. The advantage of this construction is an easy assembly and a good accessibility in case of service or cleaning.
The Rice Lake programm includes among other things Master belt scales (8 models), screw weighing systems, Bulkslide flowmeters, Loss-in-Weight feeders, silo and bunker weighers, weighing platforms, load cells and indicators.
